ice boxGo for a run in our Nation's Ice Box

No one can guess what the January weather conditions might be for the famous “Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard Run” but those who run the race in the picturesque border town of International Falls, Minn. can boast the extraordinary stunt of competing in the “Icebox of the Nation.”

Running no matter the temperature is part of the adventure of the FYGBR 5K & 10K runs which have been featured nationally and internationally on television, radio and in print. The 2012 FYGBR is scheduled January 21.

There has never been a casualty and gizzards suffer no permanent damage since runners return year after frosty year. (And Borderland’s summer beauty is tantamount to its winter heartiness!) Only the bold run the cold! 800.325.5766
